2.1 Navigation data

It is possible to access the site without being required to provide any personal data. However, the computer systems and software responsible for the operation of the site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols (IP address, browser type and parameters of the device used to connect to the site, name of the internet service provider, date and time of visit, the visitor’s web page of origin and exit, etc.).

This information is not collected for the purpose of associating it with users but, by its very nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow them to be identified.

RGE processes such data in order to monitor the technical functioning and performance of the site, to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site (such as, in particular, the number of accesses), to understand how to improve services and allow them to evolve. This data, which is therefore necessary to guarantee the delivery of the site, is deleted a few hours after processing.

The legal basis for the processing of such data is the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller (Art. 6, para. 1, point (f), GDPR).

2.2 Cookies

This site uses cookies or markers, which are technically packets of information sent by a web server (in this case, by this site) to the user’s browser and stored by the latter on their device (personal computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) and automatically sent back to the server at each subsequent access to the site.

For more detailed information on how we use cookies, please consult our COOKIE POLICY.

  • Data collected through direct contact with RGE or through a request for a quote

If, by connecting to this site, you decide to contact RGE using the contact details indicated on the “Contact” page or to send your personal data (name and surname, company, e-mail address, telephone number, any other information freely provided by you) to request a quote using the appropriate form available on the site, RGE will process your data exclusively to respond to your request, in accordance with this policy.

The data provided will be processed and stored for the time strictly necessary to answer your questions and provide the requested information or to manage your specific requests. Quotes sent to clients may also be kept for a further period of time for administrative purposes.

The legal basis for the processing of such data is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6, para. 1, point (b), GDPR).

  1. Processing methods

The data collected in the ways indicated in point 2) will be processed with the support of paper, computer, and electronic means with organizational and processing logic strictly related to the purposes themselves and in any case in such a way as to guarantee the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the data in compliance with the organizational, physical, and logical measures provided for by current regulations. Personal data will be processed internally by authorized persons, under the authority of the Controller and instructed on regulatory principles and logical and technological security procedures (Art. 32, para. 4, GDPR).

  1. Scope of communication and dissemination of data

Without prejudice to communications carried out in fulfillment of legal obligations or an order of the judicial or public security authority, we may share your data with partners or IT providers who support us in the delivery of this website. These recipients are selected by the Controller based on their competence in terms of data security and confidentiality. RGE enters into contracts with all these recipients to ensure that they provide a high level of security for the protection of your data.

Your data will not be subject to dissemination under any circumstances.

  1. Data transfer outside the European Union

Personal data will be processed by the Controller within the territory of the European Union. It is understood that the Controller, should it become necessary, will have the right to move the servers even outside the EU, for example in the case of using cloud services. In this case, the Controller ensures henceforth that the transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and, in particular, on the basis of an adequacy decision (Art. 45, GDPR) or after signing the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission (Art. 46, para. 2, point (c), GDPR).
